Role Of Management:

To make a team more effective margersion and McCann has introduced a graphic tool called Team management wheel. It has following area of quality like innovation, production, development, organization, advice and linking. Activities of team management wheel are to make effective advising giving and gaining the information.
• Inspection: auditing and controlling procedures.
• Organization: Arranging for implementation and resources.
• Producing: concluding and delivering outputs.
• Linking: establishing linkages.
• Promoting: Exploring and presenting opportunities.
• Trust, support understand and have genuine concern for other team members.
• Encourage feedback on own behavior.
• Give high priority to continuous improvement.
• Be interested and motivated.
• Be responsible for their own contribution as well as for the results of the them.
• Accept, appreciate and respect each other.
• Feel themselves responsible and equal
• Devote themselves to the common team goals based on a common mission and vision.
• To stimulate employees to be involved.
• To teach employees to realize that the company’s interest and their interest are geared into one another.


When a team is created, it consists of group of individuals and team work does not exist at this stage. Team purpose members, roles, acceptance of roles, authority and process of functioning are learnt in the formation process.
