Environment policy:
The environment policy should conclude the following issues:
• Prevention of pollution.
• Education and training for environment.
• Creating a frame work for setting objectives.
• Compliance with environment laws and regulation, cooperation with public authorities.
• Management commitment to continual improvement.
• Communication requirement with share holder.
Legal aspects explain the organization procedure to identify and have access to all legal requirement to which it subscribes. Legal requirement includes industry code of practice, contracts, agreement with public authorities, non-regulatory guidelines and governmental legislative and regulatory action. However the organization needs to identify only those requirements that are applicable to the environmental aspects of its activities, products, and services. The environmental aspects and its relationship with the environmental impacts. The process of identification of environmental aspects in somewhat similar to FMEA analysis. These aspects that relate to significant impacts shall be considered in setting objectives. The organization to establish and maintain a program for achieving the objectives and targets. The program shall include designation of the responsible function, team or individual and a timeframe for achievement. This element addresses the roles, responsibilities, and authorities of all personnel affecting the ems. The management should provide the resources in terms of people, technology, and money to implement and maintain an effective system that achieves its objectives.
